The Yellow Wallpaper
Before reading The Yellow Wallpaper written by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, I had an idea that the yellow wallpaper was going to be a prominent part of the story and would be something that would come up through out the story. What I liked about the story is the level of detail that the author made sure to include when describing the wallpaper. By the author doing so I was able to visualize the ugly wallpaper changing form before my eyes. What I didn't like about the story is the ending because the protagonist is able to rip the wallpaper off but Im curious to know what was her fate after that if she ended up in a mental institution or not. Overall I would recommend this story to someone because its interesting and builds up to the climax of the story.

Hi, Lizette. Just like what you have mentioned, the author writes a lot of descriptions about the yellow wallpaper. Same as you, I'd like to see the image that the words give me. However, I also disliked it because there are too many descriptions which somehow made me become "crazy" too.
